Profiles: Scott's Deli

Scott Heck is the proprietor of Scott's Deli and Catering at the Dundee Old Mill Banquet Hall. The business was started by his father. Most of the food is from Detroit's Eastern Market. In the 1960s and 70s, the business catered to Don's Depot in Tecumseh, which was known at the time for being one of the most popular cafeteria-style restaurants in the midwest. More recently, Scott's Deli has been involved in catering sportsman club dinners and church club dinners. In 2006, the Deli helped to cater 1,900 people at the Dundee Old Mill in an event to raise money for the local high school athletic program.
