Hack Ma Tack History

Profiles: Hack Ma Tack Inn & Restaurant

Taking an inland waterway from Cheboygan south leads one to Mullett Lake, and the Hack Ma Tack Inn. Hack Ma Tack was orginally constructed by Watson Beebe in 1894 as a private hunting and fishing lodge. The popularity of the location over the years has led to its expansion and colorful history as a family vacation destination.

The menu at the Hack Ma Tack includes a tradition of serving Great Lakes Whitefish, topped with roasted buttered almonds and a lemon wedge.
